A mostly good book with likeable characters. Darci was almost irritating in her naivete, but she turned out to be a quite interesting. My biggest complaint is in how she wrote the book's ending. Essentially, it seemed as if she ran short on time or number of pages that she was allowed to write. Everything was leading up to one particular conclusion, and we never got to see (read) it happen - only as a "one year later..." or something like that summary. That part was VERY disappointing. I probably won't read parts two and three of the trilogy.
