I've loved books and reading ever since I can remember and my great-grandmother read "Miss Suzy" to me over and over again. My tastes change over time, but tend toward paranormal romance, thrillers and mysteries, science fiction, some fantasy and urban fantasy, YA, and dystopia to name a few.

I may be getting a little burned out on Kay's books, but this one just didn't seem to have the zing or sizzle I've come to expect from her. As in most of her books, I had no idea whodunit, and the ending had a bit of a twist, but I didn't get the feeling with the main characters (Isabel and Rafe) that I usually do when reading her books. Meh. I'll probably read the next ones, hopeful that they'll do better.
